The Maison Roue Libre is run by the public transport system to encourage Parisians to use bicycles instead of cars in the city center, so the rates are particularly low. Weekday rentals are Euro 6/day or Euro 15/five days. Weekend rentals are Euro 3/hour or i12/day. They’re all city cruisers with baskets, chain guards and locks (get there early, they run out). Children’s bikes, trailers and helmets are available on request. There are also multilingual guided tours of Paris, Versailles, and the Ile-de-France from Euro 21 (90 minutes) to Euro 29 (full-day tours). Call for the schedule. Bikes can also be rented from their Cyclobus locations (in service weekends May to October) at Place de l’Hôtel de Ville, Bassin de la Villette, Bois de Vincennes (M° Porte d’Auteuil), and Bois de Vincennes (M° Château de Vincennes). Photo ID and i150 deposit required.
